Brooks Ledger, a Logansport native, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science majoring in Legal Studies from Ball State University, and graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Indiana Tech Law School. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana in October 2016. Brooks is a member of the Cass County Bar Association, White County Bar Association, and Indiana State Bar Association.
Before starting Ledger Law, P.C., Brooks was an associate attorney with Starr Austen & Miller, LLP, where he began his legal career. Brooks primarily represents clients in the areas of criminal defense and family law litigation. He is a courtroom litigator with a wealth of experience. As a criminal defense attorney, he focuses on jury trials, bench trials, suppression hearings, bond revocation and reduction hearings, plea agreement negotiations, pre-trial diversions, infraction deferrals, expungements, and juvenile delinquency proceedings. As a family law litigator, he focuses on divorces, paternity actions, child custody modifications, child support disputes, CHINS defense, termination of parental rights defense, grandparent visitation, guardianships, and adoptions. Brooks also concentrates on personal injury actions, orders of protection, and wills and estates.
